Home, Past (by JasonTank)
I’m back home for a couple of weeks. It’s more of a challenge emotionally than I expected.

Took this picture on a whim and ended up really liking it. :)

Orange Perch
It turned my feet orange.
(Good god, the gray is overtaking my hair faster than “Kony 2012” imploded…)

Teleidoscope Week 1: New Perspective
I’m afraid of what I’m capable of. On one hand, I remeber the angry teen I used to be, and it frightens me. On the other, I remember feeling that I should shut myself down and not stand out, that my innermost desires were wrong and should be ignored.
I wonder now if the two issues were related.

I Await the Protector
I took this picture on my birthday with my friend Noah hitting the shutter for me. Modeling isn’t my strongest suit, but Noah directed me and we a few good shots out of it. We were at the San Marcos City Cemetery.
My cat patronus is based on Jumping cat by Abysim (CC BY-SA 2.0). I used this smoke portrait photo tutorial to turn it into what you see before you. (Yes, I share a patronus with Umbridge, but McGonagall has the same one too, so shut up!)
The dementor was made of photos I took four days later, throwing pants, a tee shirt and a tail coat up in the air. I layered several of the resulting shapes together and added some grunge brushes to complete the look. Thanks to Joel for giving me the tips that allowed me to do this!
And yes, I made my own wand for this photo. It’s sort of like making your own lightsaber… except you’re not supposed to. But, whatever!
